To reduce spam from new accounts, I suggest:

Thread restrictions: new members can only reply to existing threads, not start new ones.

Unlock conditions for threads: either

reach a trusted level through activity - participation or

spend X hours actively logged in, or

request manual approval from a moderator.

Daily post cap: limit new accounts to X posts per day.

adding a blacklist of some sort would prevent most of this mess

legit just adding some sort of filter system so mods can add blacklisted words.
and perhaps changing the captcha at registration
